I followed instructions correctly. Like I said, it only found the hundreds of txt. files that the virus left in various folders.
And I did have back-up, but the external HD just happened to be connected at the time.
I'm trying to recover files from EHD -_-... if that guy that claims to have found another solution really did pm you, it would be nice to see what it is...

I am back. I tried the program last week but my computer just turned off. I tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't even turn on the power. I took my computer to repair and they said I needed a new power supply. I had to replace the power supply and with the installation it cost me 350 dollars. I just picked up my computer a few hours ago. Now I will try to use the program again. Hopefully I can get those pdfs back that are crypted.

It does not decrypt the files, but through cluster scanning the programs find the originals, like Photorec did with the .jpgs.
I have done such proceedures for people where that Hard Drive is stuffed, damaged file system, Partition etc.
