My sons computer had Vista business, 32 bit (one of my older computers) I wanted to upgrade to windows 7. I want to use the 64 bit, Will not work. Had to install 64 bit vista and then I can use the upgrade. I had both operating systems on the c drive. I had to reinstall Vista 64 bit and format the hard drive so only one operating system was available. This was 1 of the 3 machines I have a 2 year subscription for. How can I re-install since I have "NONE" under available installs and the subscription is valid until June 2013?

Actually I had a similar situation when I had to replace one of my systems, however I found that as long as I gave my replacement system (or reformatted system in your case) the same computer name that I was using previously, N360 installed without a hitch. Good luck.

Norton tell us this and quite a few people report it too .... but many come here saying that they did get an upcount so I think it's just as simple to get it released first as to run into an activation roadblock and then have to do it.
