This shouldn't be an issue. As you are using the same hardware your subscription to N360 should not use any extra activations.
When you complete the reformat you may have to uninstall any trial security products that were preinstalled before you install N360. Each security program has an uninstaller usually found at their Homepage.
When you are ready to reinstall N360, I suggest you log in to your Norton Account to download an up-to-date activated copy of your Norton product. Remember to run Live Update, rebooting where required, until no more updates are available.

You can go to www.mynortonaccount.com
and under products tab -> You can find the product (if you registered it with your email address) and use the download button to download and reinstall the norton.
