If I restore my HP laptop to Factory conditions will I still be able to get my Norton 360 and Norton Anti-Virus back?? I have the Norton Product key but I didn't buy Norton in a store. I bought it as a download from the Norton site.

Hi,
Yes you can reinstall either N360 or Norton Anti-Virus, but you should not have both.
Please Export your ID Safe data to a safe location first, E.G. a flashdrive or similar.
If you restore your computer it will also reinstall any trial security product that came with the laptop. This will need to be removed thoroughly with that products removal tool before your install your Norton Product.
Once any other conflicting programs have been removed, sign in to your Norton Account to download a fresh copy.
Remember to run Live Update, rebooting where required, until no more updates are available.
Let us know how you get on.
Dave.

Hi mdillingha,
Yes, you can still download it from your Norton Account.
If you have not registred to Norton Account please register to it and you can download that from there.
Just note down the Web Address of it once you login to your Norton Account and connect to the Internet and download it from the same address.

HI Fellas, I hope this works as I am trying to figure out what to do before I have to do a factory restore. I had to do one after I had had the PC for a year. I was really bummed out about it but it was the best thing that could have happened as praise God the computer speeded up considerably. Thank both of you for your very swift response.
Sincerely,
Mike
