My Norton 360 disc just arrived and I have 6 days left on KIS so I need to understand what to expect now. In the past, when KIS was uninstalled in preparation for the latest version I often had to use a "removal tool" from their library to make sure I was starting from a clean slate.
Do I have to do anything special like that to install Norton 360? I'm hopeful that a simple uninstall routine under Windows Control Panel will suffice.

Hi Jaygreg
You can use Kaspersky removal tool to remove KIS
then insert the disc and install norton 360
You can even uninstall KIS from control panel but we may have some files in registry left behind
hence i suggest you to run kaspersky removal tool
and then install norton from your installation disc
keep me on the loop

Hi jaygreg,
You will be best to run the Kaspersky Removal Tool before installing N360.
Cheers, Dave.

Thank you both for the advice and the link. I'll use the tool.
