Norton 360

I have searched all over the web and still no luck.

I have been using Norton360 for a few years on 3computers so my 4GB of space is now full. Is there a way to remove all these files so I can have a fresh 4GB of space and start backing up my recent files?

Hi,

  You can delete your back up files by opening up Norton 360.

Click on back up -> manage back up sets.

Click on the tab where at the top.

Select the drive on which you have backed up.

Click on delete back up files at the bottom. 

It will allow you to select the files are back up sets you want to delete.

Note: Once the back up files are deleted, it cannot be retrieved.

Why do we have to come to the forum to obtain this info??? Something so important certainly needs better accessed info

However it seems that this method could take many weeks of running if the Backup folder is large. The workaround chat told me is to delete the 360_BACKUP folder using Windows Explorer. I found the folder on my C drive but you may have to run a Search. Then run a fresh backup. I reclaimed about half my hard drive doing this
