Renewal notice

I received  a renewal notice  today. However I  have  already rened,a few weeks  ago. It is  working. My real beef is  that in renewing  early, I lost almost 2 wks  of service on  my  old  subscription. Doesn't it usually add  that time on? It showed  366 days  when I should  have  had  at least 10 or 11 extra. Also I am finding that my  computer has  slowed down  alot since I  renewed. Not  sure  if product   is  problem,  have  checked  every other reason. I installed  Norton 360 5.0.

Re: Renewal notice

Yea, same thing happened to me. I tried to sent email to them on "Contact Us" but "Continue" button didn't work.  How do we tell them of our problem ???

Hi smartypants,

If you renew your Norton product with a new product key, then you lose subscription days from the previous subscription. This is why we recommend users who are using a new product key for renewal to wait until a day or two before their current subscription expires, that way they do not lose any days.

However, in order to get back the lost days, please contact Symantec Customer Service at the link below (for US and Canada); you can use the chat feature for free:

http://www.norton.com/chat/

Please post back to say whether this solution helped - thanks :-)

Have changed the link - try again now :-) It will take you to a page where you have to choose your Norton product, language etc., then it will take you to a page with various contact options, including the chat feature.

Scroll down on this page, and you'll see "Live Chat" (image below). Click on the yellow button, fill out the short form which will pop up, and then you're in.

Re: Renewal notice

You should try the link yourself....  Big circle to around to "Contact Us" with "continue" button that DOES NOT WORK

This is very strange. I just tried it out myself and had no problems. You need to have JavaScript enabled, though; and you need to fill out the form completely and indicate a valid e-mail address.

One more idea: see if you can contact Chat via your Norton product. Open Norton 360, click on "Support" and then on "Get Support".
