Hi Silverdale,
Which Norton product did you renew? Did you get any email from Symantec informing your renewal was complete? If your renewal was successful then your subscription will be automatically updated and this should also show up on your Norton Account
Thanks.

Hi Wasim_m
Thanks for this. The product is Norton 360. I have again pressed the download button and pressed run, as instructed. The initialisation box comes up and the instalation complete box but my account still shows expired and I have a warning box saying I am not protected.

If you have the Norton 360 Product Key, activate the Norton product using the key. Follow these steps:
Activate Norton 360 Version 5.0 |

You might try rebooting; if your subscription still shows as expired, there's a way to enter your license key or something off your subscription renewal receipt to update your account. I'm sorry to be so vague, but I don't have access to one of my computers with 360 on it (writing this from a mobile device) so can't dig back through my records or poke around in the software to be more specific. I did just have to do this (maybe a couple months ago) for one of my computers, though, so I know it works.
Good luck!

Hi Vineeth
Thanks for this. I have followed your list but I am still getting the unprotected message. The system now seems to have repeated my order, [removed] with different Product Keys and twice taken the money on my card, but I still have no cover. Is there no help line I could ring in UK to get advice.

Hi Silverdale,
As suggested by Vineeth, did you enter the product key for Norton 360? If you did and if you are still getting the product expired message then please follow the following steps-
1) Uninstall Norton 360 from control panel -(Select the un-installation preference to save all user data if you use Identity safe for your logins, if you don’t use Identity safe then choose to delete all the user data)
2) Login to your Norton Account and download your product from Norton Account and complete the installation.
Note - If you do not use Identity Safe for auto filling your passwords then you can also run Norton Removal Tool, download it from here , after this login to your Norton Account and download and install Norton 360 from there.
Let me know if you need any further help on this.
Thanks

Hi Wassim_m
Many thanks for this, I have now installed Norton 360 Premium Product Key [removed] folowing your advice. It's a pity that advice was not included in the instructions. However I ordered and paid for Norton 360 Product Key [removed] on 13Sep and Norton 360 Premium Product Key [removed] on 16 Sep, neither of which were installed for reasons I have described before. Can you please advise how I may obtain a refund for these two items.
Thanks
Silverdale
