Hey Guys ,
When I check 'delay start ' for msnmgr it works but within a boot or 2 it comes back to startup.
I go back to 'Run Startup Manager' and 'delay startup' is unchecked .
Any thoughts ?
Thanks Peter .

Hello peterbee
You can try configuring Windows Live Messenger thru the program itself perhaps.

Are there any other programs that you are delaying the start up on? Are they staying delayed? MS Live Messager does check its settings for changes and may undo anything that interferes with LM settings.

Thanks for your quick response .
I have all programs delayed from startup except for NU and sidebar .
In NU startup programs I have all delayed excepting NU , sidebar and 'startup programs' ( I don't know what this does , but it sounded important . ) . In NU startup manager, msnmgr re-adds itself as it does in 360.
No other delayed programs re-add except for msnmgr.

Hello peterbee
If you go into tools for Windows Live Messenger under options, then sign in, you can uncheck for the program to start when windows starts. Windows Live Messenger can either start when windows starts or else it doesn't start then. You can then turn on the program when you want to use it after you have booted up. That way, it will be a delayed start since you will have to turn it on yourself.
Please let us know if this will help your problem. Thanks
