If you receive this message, just try to ran a Liveupdate.
And If the problem still persists, We can reinstall the Norton Product. Just make a try and let me know if you have any issues...

You tried with Norton Removal tool and you have reinstalled the product, am I right?
Does it shows the same error message...
Please make sure you followed all the steps in the order:
i) Using this website link - to remove and reinstall the product
ii) Make sure that you run the liveupdate again and again, until you receive the message - "Your Norton product has the latest protection updates".
iv) Then if you have the same issue, kindly contact the technical support for Norton - and let them know the steps you tried, so that they will take necessary action.
