SSD and Disk Optimization

I get an error in Norton about Disk Optimization. I read through another topic and the error was due to the Windows Defragmenter is disabled, but SSD companies advise against defragmenting disks. Is there a way to disable the disk optimization in the PC Tuneup?

Re: SSD and Disk Optimization

Hi xxdmxx,

Go to the Settings page, then click on Task Scheduling.  You should be able to uncheck Disk Optimization and click OK.

Let us know if the issues were fixed

Re: SSD and Disk Optimization

N360 uses Windows defrag.

Windows defrag automatically skips SSDs.  If you only have an SSD, that may be why.
