I have run the full and Quick scan options several times with all browsers closed. I get the same results each time. 23 tracking cookies found and resolved. This is new; resolving tracking cookies has always made them go away and not show backup unless I access the net via a web browser again. I just reinstalled from Comcast again and repeated the process. Same results. Norton reports finding the same cookies and resolving them with each run even though browsers are closed and not restarted. Any ideas???

Do you have anything else running in the background? Show us what programs were running. Can you manaually delete your cookies from your web browser(s)?

Hi bill,
A quick question - did you use this procedure when you uninstalled and reinstalled Norton Securtiy Suite?
The reason I asked is that there could have been some digital debris left behind from the last install of NSS that could have casued a corrupt reinstall.
Also,do you have Constant Guard Protection Suite also installed?

I'd say that your 23 cookies are in a 'Not Detected' state.
You need to resolve this issue manually, otherwise these cookies will repeatedly turn up in every Quick Scan that you perform. Two solutions to this problem can be found in the thread below:
