Norton 360

Im getting the restart required constantly. The pop up says "Security Resquest. Restart required.  Removal of threats....

Ive tried removing and reinstalling Norton. I've tried every scan I can think of.  It is annoying.  I believe the security history is telling mr is is adware.hotbar that seems to be a common denominator.  I have Norton 360 6.0.  I've seen a few threads here, and tried to reply to the thread, however I seem to be blocked from replying, so I'm starting a new thread.

Sounds like you have collected a bit of a 'nasty' that isn't quite a virus. May I suggest that you download, install, update and run from the desktop Malwarebytes free scanner found here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free ? It is Norton compatible so keep it on the desktop and use it any time you feel the need for a second opinion.
