I have latest Norton 360 ver. 220.127.116.11, and have tried Power Erasure, and have looked all over the 360 dialogue boxes for something to try to speed up my ISP home page load.
After installing Norton 360 my ISP (comcast.net) also is my home page and where I also get email loads extremely slow. Any change between email accounts is extremely slow (ave 1-2min). Yet all other websites load promptly. My work flow comes to a complete halt everyitme I go to my home apge on teh ISP for email - which is often.
I realize it could be them but they say no, and since it approximated the time of my Norton 360 install it could be the firewall or other feature. On previous versions there was a way to account for some sites to get less scrutiny from Norton features but I do not see it anywhere on any menus. But I also see a post from an apprent expert (by the way he asked) questioning this also and he was replied to with a way it could be done, but the reply was not specific as to where or how to do this.
How could this be accomplished so that my ISP-home page will load quickly? Or what otehr possibilites (in simple english) could I try?

Right-click on Norton icon in system tray and select Disable Smart Firewall. Select a time period for temporary testing purpose. Check if you can access the ISP's Web site without any problem. If the issue still persists, enable the firewall back & turn off the Norton Toolbar in your browser. Let us know the results.
