Several Identity safe databases under one Norton Account

Hi,

Now I have to share my PC with the son as his laptop is in service now.

We want to understand how we both can use the Identity Safe on this PC. Can I create 2 databases (one for me, and one for the son) and use them under 1 Windows account? Or should it be done under separate Windows user accounts?

Or It could not be done as it works under one Norton Account?

Re: Several Identity safe databases under one Norton Account

Hi Petr,

No, we can create one database for one NortonAccount for the identity safe.

So you cannot have two databases for the identity safe.

Sagar

Adding to Sagar comment,

Each Identity safe binds with one Norton account, but in single PC we can create/use multiple Norton accounts to use/create Online Identity safe  vault. Create separate Norton account for your son and ask him to create another identity safe Online to use it on the same computer.

Before logging to Norton account , we have option to create Norton account.

Attached screenshot for reference

After  creating a Norton account, Log in to that account, then create new Identity safe Online for that account.

If you want to use use your online vault, log out from you son's Norton account, then login to your NA and use your Identity safe.

Hope this helps,

Thanks,

Senthil

Re: Several Identity safe databases under one Norton Account

Hi,

Thanx all for the answers.

But if I sign in into different Norton Account what happens with my license? As I understand the license is converted into Norton Account. When I sign in to Norton Account (in product) it is activated and works as expected. But if I re-sign into other Account it should contain the same license inside the Account?

Can I store the license in several accounts to solve this issue?

Thanks!!

Re: Several Identity safe databases under one Norton Account

Hi Petr,

No need to bother about the license as it will be still valid till the expiry date(i.e., till the actual expiry date when you have purchased it).

You can still have the same number of days remaing to your account.

Adding to Sagar comment,

Once you register your product with your Norton account, Only that Norton account will have information about key/no of days etc. You can get that details by logging into Norton account through this  site www.mynortonaccount.com

Still you can create/loginto  another Norton account through the link  in "Login to Identity safe", this will not have any impact on product key, license etc.

Note:

1.You can create/use many Norton accounts in single machine to have identity safe online in that machine. These accounts  will not have any information about product details.
2.Each Norton account will have one Online identity safe

Thanks,

Senthil.
