I have lost my System Status Symbol from the top right hand corner of my screen

Can any anybody help me to restore it

Hello!

 

I guess you mean the Norton Gadget.

 

Press the Start Menu button. Type gadget into the search window at the bottom of the menu and press Enter.  A list of the available gadgets should appear. Right-click on the Norton gadget and select "Add".
