Norton 360

I too have noticed this icon in the upper left of the screen the only time I see it is after I have finished browsing the internet and when I close the browser there it is in the upper left hand corner. by right clicking on it i am able to drag it out to reveal an x (close button) but it does not work and if I hover over a small dot on the grey part a window pops up saying  ' Do not remind me about this issue again ' but I dont click it as I dont know what it is refering to.

I am experiencing the same thing discussed in this thread and everyones description of the problem seems to be very accurate.  I dont even know if i should call this a problem because I dont know why its there.  Heres a picture:

I'm sorry to see this still unresolved or at least unattended.  My solution in this case is to remove the product and use something else and there are plenty of others to pick from as good as Norton 360.

We realize that this icon can be disconcerting, but we've not been able to reproduce the issue internally on a consistent basis.  Please see Matt B's comments on this issue in the earlier links for more background on the issue.

We believe this issue has been resolved in our N360 v3 Beta builds (no reports so far... fingers crossed...) So when version 3.0 launches, all users with active subscription time are entitled to upgrade free of charge to that version and resolve this issue.
