Within my C drive there is an unknown folder called "beb79c1cc1e00f8f9ca8f3ad19987a". I have no idea what this folder is, and when I try an enter it or delete it I am don't I don't have permission to do so, even though I'm the administrator. I have scanned the folder using Norton 360, and it said the folder was safe and did not contain viruses etc, but I'm still quite concerned as to what this folder is. Can anyone help?

Hello!
It is almost certainly a folder created during a Microsoft update, usually a .NET-update which creates folders like this. They should be in a temp folder and be deleted after the installation, but sometimes things go wrong during the update and they end up in the wrong place. They look exactly like that, with random letters and numbers in that long a folder name.
They aren't malicious, and even though it ended up in wrong folder during installation, it doesn't harm anything.

Agreed. To be safe, just delete into Windows' recycle bin/move to somewhere else to see if anything breaks. :)
