Norton 360

I got 360 a couple years ago and it's still 2.5.0.5 - shouldn't it upgrade automatically? - - or at least prompt me to upgrade?

Is this upgrading related to pricing?

I see versions 5 and soon to be released 6 (something like that).

I run XP Pro...

Have you renewed your subscription each year?

It does not upgrade year by year automatically although the recent version V5 and the current V6 download the upgrading files automatically when the system is idle and then tell you that you can upgrade when you want to.

But if you really have V2 you need to do some cleaning up before upgrading so please let us know about the subscriptions since the older versions did not stop working but did stop updating definitions so you are very seriously at risk.

Check Help / About for the version ID which is in the format n.nn.nn.nnn where n is a number and let us know if you did renew each year. Then we can help you get safe .....
