Transferring Identity Safe to new version of Norton

Hi,

apologies if my question has been answered exactly in a previous post - I have searched but can't find an exact answer.

I have Norton 360v3 and nearly time to renew. What I want to know is - will my logins in Identity Safe be transferred, or will I have to set them all up again once new Norton installed?

I have seen posts where people are trying to recover IS, or to transfer to a different machine, and advice asks about back-up.

I suspect I will have to back-up my IS prior to installation of new Norton product and then restore post-installation.

Is anyone able and willing to provide step by step instructions on how to do an IS back-up and restore for a non-techie like me?

Many thanks,

Are you going to change from Norton 360 to Norton Internet Security? If not, this is the wrong forum.

I would recommend backing up the identity safe data just in case the upgrade does not go as plan.

As this is the Norton Internet Security forums, many of have Norton Internet Security not norton 360.  The following screenshots are taken from the Norton Internet Security 2011 product.

Sorry - didn't realise was wrong forum - I'll try the right one, as probably will get 360 again.

Thanks for the screen-shots but that facility is definitely not available in my version of Norton - I wish it was!

Many thanks for your time.
