I just purchased a refurbished Dell Precision Workstation 690 with Windows 7 Professional SP1 to replace my aging Dell OptiPlex GX 280 with Windows XP Professional SP3. The OptPlex has N360 v6 Premier Edition, while the Precision has N360 v6 Standard Edition.
My problem is twofold: First, I tried in vain to use Windows Easy Transfer to have my filed moved form my old computer to my new one. Second, I've got over 77 GB of files stored in online backup (100 GB max) in Premier Edition that I insist on retreiving, but have only 63 GB max in Standard Edition.
It's bad enough that I could not transfer half of my files from my old computer to my new one because of compatibility issues between Windows XP and Windows 7. But it's IMPERATIVE that I retreive my backup files from Premier Edition before I wipe clean my old computer's hard drive.
An additional problem is that I keep getting a "Backup At Risk" warning in my new computer's Noreton 360 Standard Edition, but every time I try to log into my Norton Account from Backup, I keep getting an error message saying that the conection to my Norton Account cannot be established.
I'm at my wit's end. How do I get my backed-up files back?

I assume the standard and premier products are on 2 seperate accounts? If they were on the same account, you should have the same amount of space on both products, since the amount of backup space is tied to your account and not your product.
Would it be possible to backup your 77GB of data to an external drive? It will take a very long time to download this data no matter how you do it, but if you can save it to an external drive, it will be safe until you can get more backup space.
Even if you wipe your old hard drive, your backup files on your premier account are safe. You will just need to activate a premier install on any computer and log in to NOBU from there. If you have your product keys and your subscription hasn't expired, you can always grab your files later.
