Hi Jormungandr:

Oh sorry forgot the link
Also, list the processes run in Normal Mode NOT Safe Mode, this will show more .exe's running in Normal mode

So, can I download it in Safe Mode and run it in normal mode? Are there any modifications needed, i.e file name changes.
Unfortunately, as I stated in a previous post, I'm denied access to Task Manager. Previously, I had attempted to use to stop "System Protector" from running when it first appeared. It just flashes and closes. Also, I tried Process Explorer, which doesn't run.
I'll attempt Task Manager again when I'm home. Currently at the library again. I'll be here for about 45 mins.

Rootkit don't like anything
The other thing you could try is in Safe Mode, Use the Run Feature and type msconfig then go to the startup tab and list all the entries.
I have also placed here a small Task manager alternative for now, http://homepages.slingshot.co.nz/~crutches/Kill%20

I'm sorry, relatives came to visit, out of the blue. Literally, "Hi, we're at the airport right now. Can you pick us up?"
I'm unable to run DDS and Kill Process in normal Windows XP mode. I get a prompt to run them, but nothing happens. Norton 360 loads, but is replaced by "System Security 2009" in the tray or whatever that is near the clock.
Here is the list of processes for Startup I got in Safe Mode:
ehtray
rundll2
ARPWRMSG
DMAScheduler
RECGUARD
(This space is blank, but is checked)

HPBootOp
Communications_Helper
NvCpl
nwiz
NvMcTray
HPWuSched2
McciTrayApp
jusched
nmctxth
RTHDCPL
19432504
dumprep 0 -k
login
HP Digital Imaging Monitor
Logitech Desktop Messenger
How are we going to fix this if nothing seems to run?
