Unable to uninstall Norton 360

I am unable to uninstall Norton 360 from my laptop. The program won't open nor will the uninstaller. I have also tried to remove it from Add/Remove programs but nothing happens. I downloaded the removal tool from Symantecs website but it tells me that the tool has expired.

I have Vista Home.

Thanks

Re: Unable to uninstall Norton 360

Hello wojcika

Welcome to the Norton Community Forum

Please try going into safe mode and see if you can uninstall it that way using the control panel method.. Please make sure that the time on your laptop is correct and that there are no errors having to do with time. Has your N360 expired? If it has, then it will not function.

Here is the link for the Norton Removal Tool. Since you can't open the program, you may have to go into safe mode to uninstall it. Also since you have Vista, please remember to run it as Admin.

You can download the Norton Removal tool from

http://www.symantec.com/symnrt

Please pick the proper Norton product that you want to remove. Also please be aware that it will remove all Norton products, so back up Identity Safe using the program to back that up. Also please have your product key handy.

Thank you Allen for new link

Please come back and let us know if this helps. Thanks.
