UpNp issue?

Hi,

I turned off UpNp on my wireless router today.

Ever since on my deskop (wired ethernet connection)  via 360 Securiyy deatils I get thousands of

"Deafult block UpNp Discovery"

Staelthed (192.xxx.x.xxx) Port ssdp (1900)

inbound Udp packet

Local Address given is 239.255.255.250.

Remote adress service is as the 192.xx     - port 19815

Process name: c:\windows\system32\shchoste.ex.e

192.xx  looks like its my router.

What does this message mean and how can I stop it?.

Thanks.

Hi tower12,

Check your router settings again.  It sounds like UPnP is turned on.  If you have other devices on your network that use UPnP, check them as well unless you are sure the IP address is your router.

Re: UpNp issue?

I checked the documentation for that device online and it doesn't mention a setting for configuring UPnP.  Can you either post a screenshot of the setting or quote the wording used?
