When I try to update my 360 Premium edition 5.0 to 5.2 I only get the answer " You have the latest version ". It is always trouble with the rapid changes in Firefox from xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-10 and I belive that Norton should have an automatic update.

Hey Bjorn
I've managed to update my N360 to v5.2, and as there are hardly any posts with updating errors on the Forums, I think that it may be something on your end. I recommend doing the following 3 things (Note: You don't have to do these in the order I give them, and I wouldn't recommend doing these things once only)
1) This may sound really simple and trivial, but it may help you to restart your PC and try run LiveUpdate again. I know I had to restart twice before I was up to date with N360 v5.2. Usually, products may seem up to date, but require a restart to enforce background/hidden updates onto the PC before showing other updates (as updates usually cannot be installed on certain programs while the Registry is being used (i.e. the PC is on))
2) Clear your "waste files". By this I don't just mean the Recycle Bin. There are a lot of junk files which build up over time on your computer, and these are often hard to detect as junk and even harder to clean (since their location is in a folder which is hidden by Windows on default). Fortunately, there are several products out there which can do this efficiently, such as Windows' own Disk Cleanup, CCleaner by Piriform, Advanced SystemCare by IOBit etc
3) If an antivirus product isnt behaving as expected and all the virus scanners are clean, then there could be malware on the system. To detect and remove malware, I personally recommend downloading and installing Malwarebytes Anti Malware on your machine, however there are other ways of dealing with malware listed here: How to TroubleShoot Malware | Norton Forums.
I hope this helps and I hope you get N360 updated soon
Kind Regards,
Dazza-N360
P.S. I apologise if I seem to be talking to you as if you're a kid, I have no idea of how much IT experience/knowledge you have so I had to try explain things as clearly and simply as possible

Hy
Thank´s for your respons. I´v already tried all of your sugestions without any solution. I also contacted support and first got the answer from the that in Firefox 8 the toolbar is working correct. I did not ask about Firefox 8 but 10.
Then I got got a new answer from the Indian? guy that I should download again my Norton Premium Edition. Lyckily I checked today what verion I had today and VIOLÁ I had suddenly ver. 5.2.0.13. It just took a few more minutes and I had my toolbar back.
Best Regards
Bjorn

you have too run live update too get 5.2.13 and then you have too re start and keep doing live updates in tell there no more
when you see this You have the latest version thats olny for upgrades so like 5 you get upgrade too 6.0 and when 7.0 comes out you get upgrade too 7.0 and so on but when it comes too small updates like 5.2.13 you get them from live updates
make sure you re start and keep doing live updates in tell there no more
