Virus Removal

I had a trojan zeroaccess virus and downloaded the norton removal program. Now I can't get my internet to work. It can't renew the IP address or switch from broadband to wireless. Does anyone know how to fix this issue. I've tried to follow some microsoft directions within the network connections but nothing changes.

Re: Virus Removal

I tried it in Safe mode and it still won't connect. I've gone in all the network connection locations and confirmed that the IP address should come up automatic?

Re: Virus Removal

My Norton subscription is now gone. I should have over 500 days remaining and it shows it's expired?

Re: Virus Removal

Do you have any other security program installed on the computer

Activate the product using your product key

Re: Virus Removal

How do you find out what is missing and how do you correct it?

Re: Virus Removal

I have a Free version of AVG and full version of Stopzilla. I have had Norton 360 and Stopzilla for years without any problems. Been running AVG since late last year.

Re: Virus Removal

You don't have Symantec or Norton for this forum,   AVG have their own forum.

Re: Virus Removal

I do have Norton 360 as my main protection.
