Web Attack: Malicious Toolkit Website 25

Norton has just blocked this intrusion. Could I get some more information about it please?

Hi southpark13,

Toolkits contain exploits for known vulnerabilities in popular software programs such as Adobe Flash Player, Java, etc.  If you are keeping your operating system and applications up-tp-date on security patches, most toolkits will not be able to install any malware.  Additionally, as in your case, Norton can recognize exploit pack activity and block it.

Hmm...Then it sounds like Adobe. I saw that their was a patch for some high severity issues, but I haven't had the chance to download it yet. I guess I'll take a look at that now.

Thanks

If you are wondering what is out of date you can download and run

hxxp://screen317.spywareinfoforum.org/SecurityCheck.exe   (change the xx to tt)
