Hello,
Since I'm now 2 people and 1.5 hours into one of the worst customer support chats I've ever had over this, I thought I'd try my luck here...
360 completed it's first full system scan last night, and I woke up this morning to a few items in an ACTION REQUIRED box.
The problem is, the ONLY option offered to me in the dropbox next to each item is DELETE. So I either choose to delete a file that I may not want to delete, or I simply push CLOSE and exit the ATTENTION REQUIRED box (which, of course, leads to it popping back up a short time later to re-alert me of the same files).
If I click HELP on the ATTENTION REQUIRED box, I'm taken to a section of the HELP file which indicates to me that several options should be made available to me in that drop box...such as IGNORE and EXCLUDE.
So my question (which I thought was rather straight-forward until I was forced to spend nearly 2 hours explaining it to a Norton support 'case manager' to no avail) is.....why am I only being offered the DELETE option?

Hi Finallygreen,
Welcome to Norton Community!
The "Action Required" options may depend on the level of threat. If the file is recognized as a high level threat, then there won't be any option to "Ignore" or "Exclude" as it can be dangerous for the computer. There won't be any user-prompt/settings to ignore/exclude high level threat as an accidental decision to ignore that threat may damage your computer and open your computer to other vulnerabilities. Removal option will be available for high level threats as their continued presence can be harmful.
