Norton 360

I have a teenage daughter who has done something awful to my computer!

Trying to remedy this, I renewed my Norton subscription.  I've tried to download my renewed product, however I'm getting the

"the download manager requires administrator privileges to download and install the product" error.

I am currently logged in as myself on this computer.  In the settings, it shows that my account is currently the administrator for my computer.  I've looked online for solutions with no success.  I used task manager to get rid of my old norton program.

I cannot think of anything else I can do.  HELP!

Did you save the downloaded file to your computer ? If yes,right click on tha file and select run as administrator.

It will ask you for the administrator password.Please type in the admin password .
