Zinio Reader 4 and Norton Security Suite [Comcast version]

[ Edited ]

Zinio for PC app on Win XP Pro, SP3.

Error: Can't connect to Server.

Zinio states not issues on their end. The problem is on my end and is a FIREWALL issue.

I disable the Firewall, nothing changes.

Zinio is ALLOWED in Firewall Program Rules.

Could there be an issue in Traffic Rules?

Zinio 4, newest version, uses Adobe Air or is tied in with Adobe Air.

Norton is up to date.

Have installed and uninstalled six times.

No other issues connecting to internet.

Thanks and make it a great day.

Welcome

If you disabled the firewall, and still had a problem, this seems to rule out the Norton product.

What version of NSS are you using? Support - About.

Did you ever have any other security software installed? If so, what was it and how did you remove it.

Re: Zinio Reader 4 and Norton Security Suite [Comcast version]

Did you try uninstalling Norton Security Suite?

If not, try that and check if the Zinio Reader works fine. If the problem persists even after uninstalling Norton, then you may need to check with the Support people for Zinio Reader.

Thanks,
