Hello,can someone help me.

norton is saying i have to do a scan for viruses and spyware.

so i start doing it.it says liveupdate applying update and then it goes on to say disconnecting updates.and it runs though the rest very fast and then comes up saying invalid license.the little image of norton is orange.so if someone can help you will make my day.thanks

Which Norton program(name and version) do you use?

If you have problem with Norton 360, refer to the instructions from this Symantec Support Article. Let us know how it goes.

Is this a new installation of Norton or has it been on your system for a while?  What is your operating system and service pack?

What Norton product have you got Internet Security or Antivirus?  What other security software do you have on your machine?

 Also check the Norton version number in the main screen under Help & Support, about.

Hi the way i fixed it was i had to ring someone from norton and they said i was on the old norton 360 2.0 so he downloaded the new one for me.so now i'm on norton 360 3.0.very happy with the work he did for me.
