Just one of my error problems
ccScHst.exe szAppVer: 106.3.2.7 szModName: culEPlg.dll svModVer: 1.0.0.25 offest:0000cc62
Now, as someone that can TURN ON A COMPUTER, and not much else, this becomes a real problem.
When I googled ccScHst.exe I did get some 2007 information, and since it included about a weeks worth of fixes, I decided that I really didn't want to have to toss out my computer yet, so I searched until I found this forum. Needless to say, if there is ONE PLACE that I should be able to get an answer, this is it.
My computer runs constantly, never stops long enough to let me use it, it won't let me pull up Internet Explorer anymore unless I do a bunch of stuff to it first, I was told to use Mozilla, I did get it, and it worked, but now the computer is even slower.
I'm coming up on renewal, and I'm worried that without the fix, I may make it even worse. Can this be fixed?

Welcome to the Norton Community
Thank you for contacting us regarding the issue you are having with your Norton Product.
Sorry that things are a bit wonky. Could you let us know some basic information first.
What operating system are you using? XP, Vista
What is the build number of your Norton 360 - go to Help&Support and Click on About and there should be a number that is xx.x.x.xx
Have you run any virus scans recently and if so were they clean?

I'm using XP and I did do a recent check and it did show one fix, but I did not notice what it was. Where do I go to help& Support? on the 360 page in the program? At least I found the support page there!!! didn't know that was there.
So how do I get those numbers again?

My Norton doesn't have Help&Support they are separated, and help doesn't have About, and Support started hooking me up to the internet. I found the version # in My Account.

Thanks Sheila6325 for providing that information. I think it would be a good place to start for you to upgrade to Norton 360 V3. Would you be comfortable doing that?

I thought I did upgrade last December.
I was just renewing before, but thought I was updating the last time.
I paid about double the regular renew price, for an upgrade. Did I do something wrong?
I'm sorry I know so little about this. If I only renewed, I will upgrade, can you tell me how I can find out? or would the version number have changed when I did it?
Thank you so much for helping me.
