email log-in failing, giving only new unfilled log-in screen. ATT mail, Firefox 9.01

Suddenly, I cannot automatically log-in to an AT&T email account with Identity Safe used in Firefox 9.01 when NOT set to Private Browsing mode.  When I try to choose the log-in item from Identity Safe, a new and slightly different log-in screen appears instead.  This does not seem to happen in Private Browsing mode on Firefox 9.01.  This problem does not happen in IE 9, whether Private Browse mode or not.  Maybe this problem is related to a Widnows update I put in today (an update issued about 01/10/2012).

 

Norton 360 v. 5.1.0.29 fully updated

Windows Vista fully updated, but one 'new' update done today

Firefox v. 9.01 and I.E. 9

 

What else/more could I check?  Any other advice?

Hi G_cafe_c,

 

Can you try deleting the login from Manage login for AT&T mail and re create a login for the same.

 

In manage login, for that login, check autosubmit and autofill option is selected or not ?

 

Try for the another option which is mentioned  here

 

In identity safe settings , check autofill option is checked with tick mark or not

Just as bad, I deleted the Log-In, but now Identity Safe in Internet Explorer 9 will not ask me to save the new Log-In; but FireFox 9.01 with Identity Safe DID ask for save of the Log-In. 

 

I believe, I can remake the Log-In to resave it again using FireFox, but I wish I could get this done regardless of which browser I choose, or in the Settings directly in Norton 360.  The main ATT site from which the log-in screen is found is att.my.yahoo.com

After saving a new login from FF, is autofill or auto submit  working fine or not?

 

Could you provide exact Url of that page(att mail), we will check this issue from our side?

The Log-In is not working properly.  
Firefox 9.01:  Ordinary browsing mode, the Log-In to the ATT account is autofilling
but not auto-submitting.  I must left click the Sign In button to make the Sign-In.
Private browsing mode, Log-In success occurs with usually no interruptions.
The main AT&T site is att.my.yahoo.com.  The sign-in page is
....
...This problem is apparantly inconsistant.  I attempted the Log-In again in ordinary
browsing mode but the Log-In worked successfully, so this problem is still unclear.

The sign-in page is at:
https://loginprodx.att.net/commonLogin/igate_edam/controller.do?TAM_OP=login&USERNAME=unauthenticate...

THAT is where the Sign-In link goes and is found from the att.my.yahoo.com webpage.

Hi G_cafe_c,

 

Thanks for the update. I am able save a new login  for that page using  FF9.0.1/IE,

 

Auto fill and auto submit are working perfectly for that page in IE and FF9.0.1 in ordinary browsing mode.

 

Note: Auto submit will work only when you launch that particular login from identity safe-><Particular website name>

          Auto fill  works

              1.when you revisit the same  page after saving a login for that page 

              2.when you launch from manage logins.
