I have been infected by the Gen 2 virus which is quarantined and making trouble with flashups from the Norton Internet Security. I see you are helping people and sometimes ask people to do a frst log - I followed your instructions very carefully for the 64 option, which I hope is not presumptious. Here is my frst if you choose to help me and you need that log.

I will not be touching this system, the user has used advanced tool(s) on their own, FRST and systemlook for starters.
The user noticed bt the thread heading that I am the one dealing with this, but still ran tools.
"I followed your instructions very carefully for the 64 option" I did not give you any instructions.

hahaha, the user has had the FRST log removed by mods, probably by request, Except Quads has a memory and is not that dumb.
I am not dealing with this system for the reason above.

I asked to have it removed because I didn't want it left on this site for all time not to trick you.
What is the best way to do this on my own? System reinstall or repair?

As Quads said, you did not follow instructions because the first instruction is that the post/thread is for the original poster ONLY, and no one else is to use that thread's instructions.
Because you missed that part, you need to go out on your own to find help. A post from Dickevans may be of help.
