ilitili.com

I'm getting a pop-up window that keeps taking me to ilitili.com and then to advertisers.

This morning I'm being asked to sign-in to Hotmail...haven't been asked to do that for a year or more.

Concerned this "ilitili" could be a screen for stealing my passwords.

How do I remove ilitili.com?

It doesn't show up in my list of programs.

Thanks,

RH

Welcome,

Sorry we are meeting under these circumstances. Please tell us what scans you have run and the results. If you have not run Malwarebytes free scanner, you might try that as well.

http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free

It's Norton compatible so keep it on the desktop and use it whenever you feel the need for a second opinion.

Keep us posted

Re: ilitili.com

I, too, am having the same issues.  I ran the full scan with Norton 360 which found nothing.  I downloaded the Malwarebytes utility that you suggested and it found over 100 threats and removed them.  Restarted computer, opened browser and same pop-up appears.  What to do?  It pops up nearly every time I go to a new website - very annoying.  Thanks.

Re: ilitili.com

Please try the following:

- Delete the temporary internet files, cache and prefetch.

- Download & run a scan with Norton Power Eraser:

- Check if it detects/remove any threats.

Thanks,
