Re: infected with trojan.zeroaccess!inf

Get Blue Screen viewer http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html  (you can read the page)  and we will see if it can tell me which file is causing the problem.

I would say from this distance it will be easier to reformat and fresh install Windows from scratch,  with that type of error,

After installing Windows make sure you can get Normal Mode, and then install Service Pack 3 for XP.

Re: infected with trojan.zeroaccess!inf

when i start up there is an option to press f10 to enter system recovery then it takes me to a page that says PC revovery. it says

this program allows you to recover your pc should you experience a pc failure or instability. pc recovery works from a dedicated recovery partition on your hard drive.

by the way thank you for all your time and help with my problem

Re: infected with trojan.zeroaccess!inf

OK,  that's good, it's just sometimes people say system recovery, when they actually mean system restore that's all.

after using F10, and reinstalling windows, and getting back on the net first time, please come back after that step, to say I have Normal Mode..... and to say it any small problem has arised like say "it can't find a utility"

Just don't use tools like NPE, antizeroaccess, FixTDSS when you don't know what you are really looking at.    And that goes to others.

I am still here.

I will have to think, that is a Windows problem of some sort. Could be a problem between your hardware drivers and SP3

Is that with Norton installed or Not, so you have Norton installed, then you try and install SP3.

Re: infected with trojan.zeroaccess!inf

What Processor type do you have??    AMD or Intel

AMD processor PC's from like HP and Dell etc has the problem after updating to SP2 or SP3 ending up with a non booting PC or continual reboot problem.
