I'm going to assume you are FF 8 or 8.0.1
In FF, click on Tool and select Add-ons from the drop down.
On Extentions you should have a Norton Tool Bar 2011.7.3.6 and aSymantec IPS 3.2. I fyou do, please ensure they are enabled.
Please post back with what you are seeing.

Hi, Marie,
Welcome to our community!
The first thing to try is to check to see if the Norton extensions are present, but just not enabled. The latest version(s) of Firefox have broken those connections by default, requiring the user to go in and manually re-enable those you actually want.
If that doesn't solve the problem, then the next step is to run Norton's LiveUpdate manually, rebooting as directed, until it tells you that you now have all the most current protection updates. Norton has to release a "compatibility patch" each time Firefox does a version upgrade, and sometimes that has not been installed yet.
There is a third stape we can take if none of that helps, but it involves uninstalling both Norton and Firefox, then reinstalling them in a very specific order. We have encountered a small number of configurations under which Firefox is extremely sensitive to how the two products get woven together. Hopefully we won't have to go there--but keep us posted: we're here to help until you're ready to click that "Accept as Solution" button, and resume your computing life already in progress! ![]()

Hi nycdragonfly,
What version of N 360 are you running? Support > About. 5.1.0.29 is the latest version. If you do not have it, please run liveupdate as many times as necessary until it responds no more updatae available. You may need to reboot at various times as asked by liveupdate.
