i installed my norton360 on my windows 7 and it worked just fine for the first 2 days. after that whenever i run the program from the desktop or the start menu it just brings up and empty white screen! i dont think its running in the background as it doesnt show in the task manager.
any ideas to what the problem might be..i would appreciate it a lot!

Do you have any other security products installed in your computer? If yes, remove them.
Then try to uninstall and reinstall the Norton product. To uninstall your Norton product, download and run the Norton Removal Tool. you can download it from http://www.symantec.com/symnrt
You can reinstall the flavor of your Norton product from the followng link:
For Norton 360: http://www.norton.com/n360s_4
For Norton 360 Premier Edition: http://www.norton.com/n360p_4

no i dont actually, i replaced norton internet securtiy with the 360.
i installed norton from a cd that i bought which has that 3 user limit on it. so if i am uninstalling and re-installing, that would mean using up another user right?

Hello z-a
If you are uninstalling and reinstalling the program on the same computer with the same operating system, then it should not count as another user or install. If it should show as another user being installed, then you can contact customer support for free and tell them what you are doing and they can reset the activations so that it is correct.
You can contact customer support via the chat program from this link.
http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/contact/con
This is the link for US/Can. If you need a different location, please consult your local Symantec site for the local free chat customer support link.
Please come back and let us know how you made out. Thanks

HI z-a
The best course of action, since you installed Norton 360 over an existing NIS installation, would be to follow the recommendations of Vineeth and run the Norton Removal Toool and then reinstall Norton 360.
Your activations should remain the same and your key will be picked up when you reinstall.

@vineeth: thank you very much, i did as you suggested and now its working fine!
@floplot: it didnt use up an extra user, and i uninstalled and installed it again and its working just fine now. i guess there was an initial problem in the installation.
mdturner: thanks for the info.
thanks everyone for your help!
