Ever since installing Norton 360, my new laptop has been crashing whenever i browse the internet. I have had it 6 weeks, and had a month free trial with MacAfee and no problems occured, Following this, i uninstalled and removed MacAfee and installed Norton 360 which i bought with the laptop. In the 3 days since then, web pages aren't allowing me to scroll, they are reloading and then failing to load of their own accord and it is almost impossible to browse. I have now uninstalled 360 and since then have had no problems like this. The laptop was a treat and is only used for recreational use, nothing to complex, but at the moment i cant even use it for that. Is there anyway i can use my £60 internet security AND still have basic internet access?

After removing mcafee did you use the mcafee Consumer Products removal tool If not, then uninstall NIS, run Norton Removal Tool. Run mcafee cleanup tool, re-run NRT, reboot, reinstall Norton 360. Retest

You can find a list of security software uninstallers here.
Look about half way down the list to see the McAfee uninstaller.
