Running Windows 7 and am using Firefox v-14.0.
Recently I've noticed a blank screen will randomly be poped up and "cpv.srv-ad.com" will be opened when I clicked the firefox window. I tried to have a full scan with Norton 360, but it cannot detect any problem. Then I searched a lots of website, haven't found any useful information to get rid of this virus. Anyone can help me?
Thanks.

Hey
Try this Security program, it plays nice with Norton products.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, here are a link that you can download the program from.
http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_ma
when you have installed the program, do not forget to update the program to the latest definitions, before you start a scan of your computer.
Good Luck

Thanks for your information. I tried the Malwarebytes and tdsskiller, but the cpv.srv-ad.com still pops up. Is there any other way to eliminate this virus?
And I just wonder why norton 360 can NOT detect and eliminate this?

Please try the following:
- Delete the temporary internet files, cache and prefetch.
- Check in Uninstall a Program(Control Panel) for any new programs/toolbars and remove it.
- Download & run a scan with Norton Power Eraser:
- Check if it detects/remove any threats.
Thanks,
