I am constantly getting a pop up when accessing web pages requesting access for ssvagent.exe. Then the blank cmd prompt box flashes and I continue to the web page. I'm reading on the internet that it is some kind of virus, but I don't know what to do. I have norton 360 active and current, and I ran norton power eraser but it says there were no hits. I'm not an expert in commands or any of that so its becoming very frustrating. One internet board said to go into safemode w/networking and enter cmd prompt "ASSOC .exe=exefile". It immediately tells me access denied. I did notice in safe mode that the pop up stops coming up, but I don't know what that means either. And yes, my pop-up blocker is active.
I am at a loss here and have no clue as to my options. PLEASE HELP A CONFESSED AMATEUR! Thanks!
