symantec framework not responding. norton 360 4.1

I thought everything was taken care of finally . I repaired vista, updated back to ie 8.  vista 64 and norton 360 4.1 now.  My computer slowed down once again after ie 8 and norton comes sometimes to a crawl when trying to open it .  The error that I got was Symantec framework not responding . Wrote it down , and then 5 minutes later it finally came up .  I've uninstalled and reinstalled norton before and don't really want to go there once again.  I had drivers delted when I did and since that they are working now.  Also spam for 4.0 incoming isnt working right either. In history it says 0 out of (what ever amount of emails that come in has been scanned).  Any help would do.

Hello Tomas01

Do you have any other security programs installed in your computer? Does your computer meet the minimum requirements to run N360 version 4? What was your security program before N360 and how was that removed? What drivers were removed by N360?

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.

MalawareAntibytes.Yes it meets 4.0  I had CA security suite a long time ago.  Drivers that were removed after reinstall of it was USB drives well not really just corrupted them I think couldn't use it.  Now I am having code 19 with the cdrom due to this didn't know about it.

For code 19 error, try the solution from the following thread:
