Norton 360

Everytime I run liveupdate on my netbook I got an error 8920,201 and have to download ca 130 MB to get it working.

I find this frustrating because my two desktops upgrade OK. The netbook is an Acer Aspir One D250-1080. Ok it might be

7-9 days between every time I start up the netbook but it should upgrade without problem.

Hi,

can you please tell us the exact version of your Norton product?
1. Open the main window
2. Click on Help & Support -> About menu
3. On the About window find the version number (it will look like this: 5.1.0.29)

Does this ~130MB download comes trough Live Update every time or do you have to download the virus definitions manually with the Intelligent Updater program?

First it tries to download from Live update but it nevver works, whatever many times I do this and rastart the computer. Always in the end I have to download manually from the intelligent updater.

Try this out:

1. Open 360

2. Go to Setting -> Antivirus Settings -> 2nd tab

3. The first setting is Intelligent Definitions, turn it on (or off if it was on)

4. Save the settings

5. Run Live Update manually

The first package will be a larger one, and the nexts should be later only small ones.

Let us know the results.

Intelligent def was on and I turned it off. Made Live update and it worked. Thanks for the help.
