Re: Galaxy Tab Avast Anti-Theft Protection

Hi lordpc.

Welcome to the Community.

Sorry that I seem to be being a bit slow today but can you clarify things a bit for me.

Are you using a Galaxy tab and want to receive phone calls on it, because I didn't think that was possible?  Or is someone trying to send you messages/calls from a Galaxy Tab?

Can you explain what you mean by "stealth mode" as it is not a "mode" I recognise in association with Norton Anti-Theft (NAT)?

Also I am not aware of NAT using SMS but I am aware of Norton Mobile Security (NMS) (also called Norton Security and Antivirus) using SMS messages but again not in connection with any "stealth mode".  So are you using or trying to use NAT or NMS?  By the way even if the Galaxy Tab can apparently send SMS messages I doubt that they are true SMS and as such probably won't work with NMS.

Hopefully when things are clearer we will be able to help.

Re: Galaxy Tab Avast Anti-Theft Protection

Hi lordpc

Would you by chance have Android Avast Mobile Security Free installed on your

Galaxy Tab.?

Because Avast Mobile Security does use a Stealth Mode feature in the Anti-Theft addon. .

If you are looking for answers for the Avast product then i think you will find the info

needed on the Avast website :smileyhappy:-
