I realized directly after installing Antitheft that my choice of the password I would use for to lock, wipe in case the phone is stolen was not smart at all.
So I would like now to change the password, but I can't find how to do that.
Anyone who van help me. Thank you in advance. lars r

Hi remsan-
Do you have Norton Mobile Security or did you buy Norton Anti-Theft? I assume Norton Mobile Security and that you are talking about the password for SMS lock?

Hi Joe,
yes, it's the password for SMS lock. I bought Norton Mobile Security, not the Lite version, and there was this possibility.
But I have got two app icons om my phone. One Norton Mobile Security with different things like Anti-Theft, Anti-Malware, Blocking calls and Webprotection.
And the other icon is Norton Anti-Theft.
But both came at the same time at the installation.

Hi remsan.
Not sure why JoeK does not appear to have come back to you but I will try and answer your question.
Tap on the Norton Mobile Security Icon - that should give you a screen with four lines one of which should be "Set up Anti-Theft" - select that. On the next screen you should see that it is in two parts, the upper being for the Web Anti-Theft Status and the lower part being for SMS Anti-Theft Status - tap on that section - and you should be asked for your password (i.e. the one you want to change). Once you have entered that you should get a page with lots of tick boxes on the right, starting with "Remote Scream". The password change option is at the bottom of this page (probably off the screen), scroll down until you can see it and .... change your password.
I hope that helped. Any queries please feel free to come back.

Hi Andmike,
thank you very much!
Your instructions worked fine and my problem is solved.
The world of smartphones is new to me and I realize there is a lot to learn.
When "trial and error" becomes "trial and terror", it's fine to have someone with more knowledge to ask.
Best regards,

Delighted it worked remsan.
Enjoy your device - you will usually find that there is little serious damage you can do! Knowing that NMS is there to protect you should also make you a little easier.
Good luck for the future. ![]()
