Hi,
I have recently purchased a new phone and contract through Optus Australia, with the new HTC One X, and I got a free 2year subscription for the Norton anti theft for it. I rooted (modifying the applications and OS etc) my phone today, and it has inadvertantly wiped the norton from my phone. Is there anyway that I can get this back without having to pay for a new subscription?

Hi bm4506.
Welcome to the Community.
Is it just a subscription to Norton Anti-Theft that you bought? I was not aware of anyone using this alone on a phone. Most phone users have Norton Mobile Security to which they can then add Norton Anti-Theft as a free plugin.
Even if it was just an Anti-Theft subscription you will have had to load some software onto the phone. Can you tell us where you got that? Was it the Anti-Theft plugin from Google Play or something else?
Before making wild guesses as to how best solve your problem I will wait for you to come back with the answers to the above.
