Hi,
I've had NSM installed on 2 computers for the last month and all activity logs, search history, etc has been working perfectly. Then suddenly two days ago, all logs stopped, even though both computers were still being used and no changes were made. Child doesn't know the password or have administrator rights. One of the computers in question is mine and I know that no changes have been made.
To troubleshoot, I've done the following:
1. Reinstalled NSM on both computers
2. Deleted the old "child" profile and added a new one, associating both computers and users.
It appears that blocking is still happening on the computers, but I feel like I'm flying blind because I can't see activity logs anymore. Please help!
Also, on one of the computers (mine), I get an email about 3 minutes after being online that "The NSM browser plug-in has been disabled." This has been occurring since I first started using NSM and it's super annoying but I haven't been able to find any fixes on the forum. I know for a fact that I am not disabling the plug-in myself.
Thanks for your help.

I am getting really upset now. Blocking of sites is now very intermittent. I have been able to access pornography and adult sites, which means my kids can too. Please resolve these issues quickly!

Hi Funkya,
The NOF team has corrected the issue with logs no long available. If you are still experiencing the issue, please let us know.
For the adult sites, did those websites get blocked before? If you add those websites to the black list, do they get blocked?
Thanks for your support and patience.

Thanks for the reply, Katie.
I just checked and still am not seeing any activity logs. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know.
Regarding the blocked sites, I have never had a problem with the blocking before and usually test it daily. Today is the first day that it let me through multiple times. If I put the sites on the "blocked sites" list it seems to block them intermittently. I hope there is a solution since adding sites to that list isn't really a practical long-term solution.

Hi Funkya,
Thank you very much for the update. The NOF team started to investigate the issue further immediately and corrected the issue. Please check again and it should work this time.
Sure, I agree with you that adding the websites to the black list is not the solution. The reason I mentioned that was trying to know if the categories of the websites were blocked or not (as sometimes websites are not rated as they should). Please check again about the blocking issue after the correction.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Thanks for your patience.
Thanks,
Katie

Hi Katie,
I really appreciate your and your team's prompt attention to these issues. I started receiving activity logs again yesterday evening...yay! Thank you!!!
An update on the site blocking: I was still able to access some pornography sites last night (they are the ones that I test with every day and have never been able to view them before, so I think they are rated correctly). When I add them to the site-blocking list they do get blocked.

Hi ImmolatioN,
I haven't been able to reproduce the issue. Besides logs not showing, does a website get blocked if you test one that's supposed to be blocked?
Thanks,
Katie
