I had Norton's parental controls installed (and configured and working AOK) on my computer and I had to reinstall Norton Internet Security 2012 and then it wouldn't let me reset the parental controls.  When trying to setup the controls I now receive the error message "This version of Norton Safety Minder requires Norton Online Framework to be installed first."

Hello Everybody

I have the very same problem. Some days ago, I had to re-install Online Family on my computer (Windows 7, IE 8), but every time I tried to do it, I received the error message "You have to install Norton Online Framework first"...  I haven´t been able to find the solution....

I have found this program very useful for my children, I recomend it to everybody!.

This is my first time trying to install Norton Family on my sons computer, He has Windows Vista and uses firefox as his main browser, he uses the admin account on the computer. When I tried installing it I received the error: This product is not compatible with this computers current operating system. Please help.

2 things, 1 you should not allow your children to be administrators, that allows them too much control and will make it easier to defeat the program. 2 we are compatible with Windows Vista, however do you have another Anti Virus software on your system. We are compatible with many 3rd party products, however there are some that don't work properly along side of Norton Online Family.

  No the only antivirus i have is the latest version of norton. I thought maybe if i finished downloading and loading all the windows updates that it would then install but still no luck.

Can you post a screen shot of the error, I have not seen this before for Windows Vista, which we are compatible with.
