Category named: "???"

Hello!

 

Firstly I want to say many thanks to Norton by Symantec for such good product ).

 

And about the issue. I've installed Safety minder on Android smartphone from Google market: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.symantec.familysafety

Several weeks ago NSF was updated to last new version.

 

Now I see on OnlineFamily site, that my child going to webpages which categorizes "???". Please find attached screenshot (sorry I cent attach jpeg, please see here: http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/5154/67303802.jpg).

 

Could you please help me to solve the issue?

 

 

P.S.

Additional information:

OS: Andriod 2.3.5 

Device: Samsung Galaxy Young

Browser: Android default browser

Other: Didnt install any security software. Didnt install any root or other hacks.

I appreciate your kind words.

 

It seems the link you sent us is invalid.  I can't see the image.  You can attach the picture to the post by selecting the Insert/edit Image icon.

Thanks for the report. It looks like you might be having problems connecting to our categorization service. Are you using a cell data connnection or connecting over wifi? Have you noticed any connection problems?

Hello Chris

 

I'm using wifi connection, cell data (GPRS, 3G) is turn off. I think there shouldnt be any conenction issue because sites opened successfully, and as I see reports to Onlinefamily site also setnt successfully.

Hey JumpErr, sorry for the delayed response, I've looked into the issue, this is most likely to happen if the child app reports an invalid category id to our servers. If this issue is still occuring, could you find out what version of the app your child is using? You should be able to see the version number by going to Menu -> About in the House Rules page

Here is the version of NSM 2.3.0.34.

As I remember, last time I've updated it 2-3 weeks ago.
