Chrome - Is it supported?

[ Edited ]

Seems to work, but I cannot find any documentation that says it is supported.

example:

http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&selected_nav=&pvid=nof&ent...

Just curious.

Thanks

Re: Chrome - Is it supported?

Hi,

Norton Safety Minder's webservices are working on a higer user level, and because of it most of the features (web history data, blocking known and user configured websites, allow user configured websites, etc.) can work with all the browsers.

I tested the same with Opera, which has again no plugin from Norton inside it, and had the same results as in Internet Explorer.

Basicly NSM watches over the communication layers (sent, and received data), and checks these data, and do not get the webaddresses and other things from the browsers. And because of this NSM is compatible with all the browsers available for download :).
